Our previous post about National Review “reporter” Eric Pfeiffer prompted an email from Eric himself:
I find it amusing that you would criticize someone else’s intellectual capacity while writing in a voice so shrill. Maybe that’s why Wonkette lets me post on her site: I’m not a moron and actually have some modicum of talent.
I didn’t criticize Eric’s intellectual capacity, call him a moron or suggest he was lacking in talent. I simply said he lied about Cindy Sheehan and that he was a wanker for suggesting that she should go back to sleeping in ditches. But since he apparently can’t read or understand the post I wrote, well then, you can draw your own conclusions about Eric’s intellectual capacity.
Eric also said in his email that he had tried to enlist in 1995 but had been unable to do so because of a medical condition that he named in the email. If true, that condition is worse than Vicodin Rush’s disqualifying butt boil but not so bad that it prevented Eric from camping out in the desert heat of Crawford this summer to keep an eye on Cindy. So, I take back my accusation that Eric is a chickenhawk. He’s still a wanker.
