The Internment Spa Lady is appalled that people think the “evil twin” defense by Claude Allen is hilarious:
The oh-so-compassionate Left is snickering at the possibility that Floyd Allen may have been responsible for the crimes with which Claude Allen has now been charged. If it turns out that Claude Allen, a father of three who reportedly has bailed out his troubled twin brother before, tried to protect Floyd Allen and ruined his career out of familial love, that is an extraordinary thing.
Tell me again why this is funny.
Um, maybe, Michelle, because there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell that it’s true. For starters, they arrested Claude in the act, unless of course Floyd was walking around with Claude’s ID, pretending to be Claude and, of course, putting the money in Claude’s credit card account, which would do Floyd little good, unless Floyd had also gotten himself credit cards in Claude’s name. And if that’s the case, we would have Claude stepping in to save Floyd who was busy trying to nail Claude with the crime by pretending to be Claude. Which, even if true, would still be pretty freakin’ hilarious.
On top of that, everyone else on the face of the planet thinks the whole evil twin business is funny. Watch this “evil twin” ad and tell me it’s not funny.
Now that’s what I call funny.
