We liberals aren't opposed to Christmas and I'm a bit tired of hearing that we are.
Indeed, some of us celebrate Christmas by remembering that it celebrates the birth of someone who teaches us that love is more important than power, that giving is more important than receiving, that God loves everyone and not just a select few, and that our obligation during our short sojourn here on Earth is to teach these things by private example, not by public compulsion.
